As stated in the previous post that, the presence of wasps and nests can make people uncomfortable, especially because the nest is built close to someone's house, so some say that it is as dangerous as the presence of a snake of cobra.
Although some people think the presence of a wasp nest is the same as the danger of a cobra, hunter wasps or other wasps can still be handled safely and practically by not killing the wasps themselves. One of them does not panic and try to keep them in the nest, at least until the nest will be moved to another place so that your concern does not become a problem.
If you think the presence of a wasp nest and the wasp itself makes you and your family uncomfortable then you should move when the nest is still small or still in the beginning of manufacture. This you can do yourself without having to call a team of insect experts meaning you can do it yourself,
Personally,I moved the wasp nest in our backyard. So based on that I will explain some simple tips in moving the nest by following a few rules which will be mentioned below,
Prepare some security measures for the body
Before you take the action of moving a wasp nest in the yard or sometimes in front of the door of your own home, what you have to prepare first is to anticipate if there is an error in removal.
You have to protect your body with a tool or clothes that cover your body, if it's not there then you can simply coat your body with red onions on your body parts on your body, like
- Head and face
- Arms and legs
- Back and front of the body
Why on that body part?
Because in general, wasps will always attack their prey on the face, head and neck. While other parts as mentioned above are very rarely attacked, this also happens when you run.
Then why should the onions?
Their wasps instinctively don't like the scent of onions because there are substances onions that can make the bees themselves dislike them. However, do not ever hang onions near the nest because they will tag you.
Take the nest at night
Before you move the nest you have to look at the size of the nest first, if the nest is large then you should call experts, but if the nest is small then you can move yourself at night.
Night is the right time to move the nest because at that time the wasps are generally resting, so this is a very telling time.
When you take it of course the wasps' nest sticks tightly to the stems or branches of the plant, then you have to remove it slowly, then you place it in another location far from the house or the location of your home area, when you bring the nest try not to leave the nest You have to do it slowly.
When you are attached to a new location, you must place it firmly on the stems or branches of other plants, while the way to attach it is with a rope that you connect directly to the shade of the tree.
In my experience, the writer saw the wasp knowing that the location will be preserved so that later in the day they will also reattach it to their saliva as they always have.
But if the nest is large, then you should not move it because there are things that are not good for you, so you have to wait a few days by giving smoke to the nest every day until the wasp will move in another direction.
