That's what always emphasized Abdullah Harun who is the father of a rider from Malaysia, Hafiz Syahrin Abdullah.
Hafizh has just signed a contract with Monster Yamaha Tech3 and will become a Southeast Asian rider who can compete in the most prestigious motor racing event in the world, MotoGP.

For Abdullah, he believes that it is very important to give a strong foundation in achieving success in any sport before the child is allowed to race.
"If you look at how Europeans develop a rider, they take a much more patient approach and focus on something fundamental with less emphasis on racing at the start," said Abdullah quoted BolaSport.com from NST.

"I believe we have to educate and train our riders well, before we let them race.
This is how I developed Hafizh because there is no shortcut to success, "continued Abdullah.
Abdullah who is a former 50-year-old mechanic was then told how to be a biker on the track will make a person's life is different.

"You have to take it step by step at any time.
You can not follow the standard two or three and go straight to university.
