What is fossil
Fossils are the remains of animals or plants that have been naturally preserved and embedded beneath the soil. Starting from a very large dinosaur to very small animals that can only be seen through a microscope, all there is foailnya.
Most fossils are found only in the bones of some parts of the body only. Very rarely fossils are found in intact form. Animal fossils are only bones because the bones are the hardest part of the body, in contrast to the soft and fragile flesh. Sometimes animal fossils are found in abundance because they live in large groups.
