Competition between two games Battle Royale seems to be getting fiercer only. On the one hand Fortnite is a game that is well liked by many people, but the game is arguably only based on the trend. No one knows whether two or three years into the future Fortnite still have the same hype.

Then on the other side there is PUBG, which although now is not as beautiful as before, but until now still have its own fans. Competition both not only about the game, but also includes the eSport scene of the game. Fortnite yesterday had time to announce about their commitment to eSport and prepare Rp1, 4 trillion for that matter.

But unfortunately not much information related to what they will do with the fund for eSport Fortnite in the future. Meanwhile, as if not to be outdone, PUBG recently announced their commitment to eSport by directly announcing a five-year plan! Seeing this seems like Bluehole does not mess about eSport PUBG and focuses more on long-term plans.

At a presentation, PUBG Corp said that their goal in 2022 will be for PUBG to be recognized globally by gamers. In order to achieve this, there are many things that have been prepared some of them like a simpler spectator system to be more easily viewed by either gamers or non-gamers.

About the competition, PUBG reportedly has prepared a competition that is not just for the pro player, but also a competition that can accommodate the amateur players. As for the pro players, PUBG prepares the presence of professional leagues in Europe, North America, Korea and China. Then while looking at potentials in other areas, they are just expanding and rolling out leagues for unspoiled areas by 2020.

n addition PUBG also promises a more open competition, so either male or female players are all allowed to enter the official competition. Another thing that is also revealed by PUBG Corp is that there will be no franchise system in the PUBG league later.

Even then maybe there will be in-game merchandise that players can buy, then there is a revenue sharing system which means the revenue is shared between the team and the organizer.

Featuring Ninja, DrDisrespect, and other streamers to compete for the prize pool of 1 million USD, which will be donated to the winner's choice. Looking at the current PGI. Is PUBG already worth mentioning as a role model of eSports Battle Royale?
