Esperanto: A second language

Hey guys, today I am going to introduce to something interesting in your life a language which might be used as a second language for communicating with other people outside of your country. Meet your new language "Esperanto".

This language was developed by Lazarus Zamenhof, an eye doctor. He created the language as he believed that much of the distrust and misunderstanding between the different ethnic groups was a result of language differences, so he resolved to create an international language which could be used as a neutral lingua franca and could help break down the language barriers.

Zamenhof had three goals, as he wrote in Unua Libro:

To render the study of the language so easy as to make its acquisition mere play to the learner.
To enable the learner to make direct use of his knowledge with persons of any nationality, whether the language be universally accepted or not; in other words, the language is to be directly a means of international communication.
To find some means of overcoming the natural indifference of mankind, and disposing of them, in the quickest manner possible, and en masse, to learn and use the proposed language as a living one, and not only in last extremities, and with the key at hand.

Now the main feature of this language which I heard from the user of Esperanto is that it is free from grammer exception unlike grammer of English and other langauge which we use in our daily life and has only 15 grammatical rules. Hope you are feeling excited about this language.

Today Esperanto is the most widely used international auxiliary language and is particularly popular in Eastern Europe and China. There is a flourishing Esperanto literature including books, magazines and poetry. Some of the literary works are originally written in Esperanto while others are translated from other languages. There are also Esperanto songs and a number of radio stations broadcast news bulletins in Esperanto.
