The Rockets take Game 2 against the Warriors!
The Warriors faced the Rockets in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals last night. Golden State had a one game series lead over the Rockets and were looking to take Game 2. Houston came out with a different game plan to spoil the Warriors chances of victory. Instead of playing Gerald Green for most of the game (like they did in Game 1), the Rockets played the red hot P.J. Tucker. Tucker missed only one shot the whole game and scored 22 points off 8-9 shooting from the field. James Harden and Eric Gordon both scored 27 points to lead the Rockets in scoring. Ariza (19 points) and C. Paul (16 points) scored double figures as well. The Rockets had a balanced attack with 5 players scoring in double figures as they defeat Golden State 127-105. The Warriors seemed out of synced for most of the game. Golden State had only two players score in double figures. Durant scored a game high 38 points and Curry scored a solid 16 points to lead the team in scoring. It was a horrible night for the Warriors offensively. Klay only scored 8 points for the game and the bench for the Warriors wasn't a factor as well. The series is tied and the Rockets are looking to take the series lead. Houston will have an hard task as it is hard to beat the Warriors at home with their hyped-up crowd. Game 3 is Sunday at Golden State. (Click the photo above for highlights!)
