Magic! Only true believers understand.
I am deeply suspicious of Baden, due to his prior service. I am highly dubious of the suicide theory. Every angle seems to indicate that Epstein was confident he would get out of jail quickly, including his own prior experience, his covert intelligence connections, and his legal strategy. The jail is extremely hard to suicide by bedsheet in, having no place to anchor a noose, and flimsy sheets designed to tear when tensile pressure was applied. The failure of two cameras is frankly contrived, as are the naps taken by both responsible guards.
If Baden does proclaim - as I am practically certain - that Epstein was probably murdered, I will have to revise my opinion of Baden, because I expect him to toe the party line. I think that's what his job is. I reckon this statement by Baden is intended to get folks to jump to the conclusion he is legit, and that confidence generated thereby will cause less reasonable people to maintain it even when he backs off and says 'Well, it was suicide after all.'
People that really want to believe are easy to fool.
Thanks!
I smell a cover up. If they do not reopen the case, many who are guilty as hell will go free. Shame on them. Thanks @krnel I WILL resteem

This is very worrying indeed. One has to wonder that if the original investigation was a cover-up then in what ways was it communicated the pathologist who did the autopsy what results were required.
Its always extremely dangerous when power becomes too entrenched. When powerful families have bad apples who've done bad things, there is often little those families are not willing to do to protect the family reputation and wealth. Particularly, if what a family does is all about reputation and nothing else, the pressure to make this type of stuff to go away must be enormous.
