Ready or not, here it comes...

At the time of writing, it will be exactly one month until we launch the platform and the airdrop. It has been a long time coming, so we are thrilled that it's drawing nearer. But there is still a lot of work to be done. One of the biggest jobs is making sure the right people know what WORBLI is, and what it is doing The EOS community is full of some really interesting projects but they are all unique and have very specific aims.

For us, it is all about building a system that people can trust. We are providing a fully transparent network that gives consumers a product that emphasizes security and reliability. We have used the EOSIO software to get there, but with a few tweaks of our own. We do this because we need a globally compliant framework for those wanting to develop and deploy their own dApps. We are not trying to compete with EOS. Instead, we are showing its powerful potential. The message is gradually getting out. Here are our updates:

They say there is no such thing as bad publicity. So, we were pretty stoked to be mentioned in an article by Coindesk. Not enough journalists are covering current affairs in the EOS community, so that’s cool. That said, we would like to clarify that WORBLI is one of the friendly forks of EOS. Not all forking projects are disgruntled, as the headline would imply. To the contrary, we enjoy a healthy relationship with the wider EOSIO community.
We reached a significant technical milestone this week. We have launched the WORBLI testnet! That means we have started peering block producers with the boot node and the WORBLI producer node. This will lay down the vital groundwork and iron out any kinks before we launch LIVE with a brand new network next month!
Another week and another EOS event. This time it is online and free, so check out EOS Ignite and sign up! The event runs over today and tomorrow (August 14-15). Yours truly will be presenting on Wednesday, Aug 15, 2018 at 9am and 1pm EDT. I look forward to seeing you there!
