Announcing shEOS – All Female Block Producer Candidate for EOS Blockchain
shEOS is proud to announce candidacy for Block Producer on the EOS network.
shEOS is comprised of an international group of female entrepreneurs, investors and engineers – the only female operated EOS Block Producer candidate – deeply committed to supporting a solid and successful EOS.IO blockchain launch and growth on a global scale. Using powerful and secure state-of-the-art technology at our Data Center, our primary responsibility is to ensure the rapid, responsive, dependable and trustworthy performance that will result in widespread adoption of the EOS network.
At the same time, we recognize that the global embrace of innovative decentralized applications and efficient smart contracts, made possible through high-speed processing on the EOS.IO blockchain, will bring opportunities unprecedented in human history for diversity and inclusion. Envisioning a day when all of humanity can access fundamental tech-based goods and services, shEOS is simultaneously committed to eliminating an archaic and counterproductive cultural bias based on gender. We aim to move the gender ratio of users and developers of blockchain technology toward 1:1. We believe that EOS based innovations have the potential not only to meet the most basic tech requirements of every human being, but that the dawn of EOS will benefit all humankind.
The mission of shEOS is to add value to the entire EOS network, the most powerful software for decentralized applications. The sincerity of our intention will be demonstrable, quantifiable and transparent. Beyond our unbeatable capacity for block production, we are committed to re-gifting rewards from block production back to the larger global EOS and blockchain ecosystem. Our allegiance to the community extends to events, outreach, advocacy and support of the entire network. Through our community benefit pledge, we will create the shEOS Scholarship Fund to award technical education and job placement counseling to female blockchain developers.
shEOS recognizes that experienced, dedicated and reliable Block Producers must be able to perform from Day 1 and simultaneously to share in vast civic responsibilities as together we grow the new blockchain based economy. We are enthused and fully prepared to participate as leaders in the field.

Estimated scaling plan for hardware after June 3, 2018
We will add nodes worldwide on the quarterly basis, assuming EOS blockchain exponential transaction growth of 50% per quarter, and we will increase the capacity of next four nodes by 50% each quarter. If the EOS blockchain growth is less than 50% per quarter, we will adjust the capacity based on first and second quarter performance.
Community Benefit Project
shEOS is committed to the technical and engineering education of women around the globe. Today, women account for only 4%-6% of blockchain investors, and the number of women working in fintech is even lower, while the demand for female employees is rapidly growing. Education, in this sector, equals jobs. We commit to making all efforts to educate and engage women, and all people, in the EOS community and our community benefit project.
Our community benefit project will include a commitment to create scholarships for women to attend Academy: School of Blockchain, the world's first accredited blockchain training program, and we will consider endorsing other educational institutions as they become accredited. Educational opportunity-giving is central to our vision: we want to not only improve the ratio of women and men in the blockchain space, but also to enable nurturing, sustainable, equitable growth for all.
Our Values
Please see our website sheos.org for up-to-date information about our values.
Women Empowerment
We are committed to ending the gender gap for women in finance and technology. It is at the core of our mission to increase the amount of women in the EOS community. We will continue to educate and engage women to learn how to purchase, place currencies in wallets and to transact with EOS tokens. We are dedicated to educating and encouraging women to become developers and to build in the EOS platform. We also feel that feminine energy will bring balance to our EOS community.
Collaboration
In the spirit of feminine energy shEOS will team up with other Block Producers to do what is best for the community at all times. shEOS thrives in the spirit of collaboration.
Dependability
We possess a strong attention to detail, that will enable us to provide dependable technology, secure data centers and service for the benefit of the EOS community. Dependability is at the core of our genes.
Integrity
The shEOS team is rooted in honesty and strong moral principles. Every member of the team is a respected member of multiple industries and civic groups as well as the broader blockchain community. Each of us has been vetted by consensus voting.

Finances
shEOS is a 100% self-funded organization. For the benefit of the EOS community, we will set a minimum cash-giving policy based on a formula by which we will multiply 2.1% x the pretax net income of the previous year to set the minimum cash giving budget for the next year’s contributions. This giving program will serve not only to build the blockchain community’s strength in developers, but it will help diversify the user base and promote global equality.
Transparency
The values underlying the blockchain are the same ethos we uphold. Transparency is essential to the success of the ecosystem. We are committed to transparency, and we pledge to update our activities in the shEOS organization, holding ourselves accountable to the EOS community.
Position on Dividends
shEOS is against buying votes. We have a policy which prohibits sharing dividends from the vote rewards with individual voters. We will allocate a portion of the block rewards to benefit EOS community development and shEOS scholarships. These rewards will fund the community meet-ups, our ongoing efforts to educate and engage women, and all members in the global EOS community.

Your name is awesome @sheos! Very impressive lineup! I will follow and join on telegram.
Thank you!
Gender diversity will strengthen our industry and movement. Thanks for putting in a bid to become a block producer @sheos. You have our support.
Thank you for your support! :)
Your support means the world! Thank you.
Great to see the idea of @sheos in support, value, recognition, and involvement of some women in bigger roles where they will be able to express, share, and add more of their passions and values.
Thank you!
yessss
Great announcement and an amazing group of entrepreneurs you have assembled. Diversity in the EOS ecosystem is a good thing. EOS Tribe welcomes you to the BP community.
Thank you for your support! :)
Wow sexist much. The EOS community l, or indeed the entire crypto community does not define itself as male or female. If males released MENOS there would be a massive outcry. Typical double standards, this only promotes sexism and does nothing to fight equality. I will stand by all the other non gender or race isolating block producers.
The community isn't defined as a whole by gender, yet is heavily dominated by only one. We aim for gender balance, an equal 1:1 rather than 1:20. The ShEOS women in blockchain initiative is set forward to educate more women in finance and technology, specifically how to use and develop for the EOS network. We have many male advocates and community members helping with this mission.
Fair enough Crystal I am all for equality but not hypocrisy, my statement stands, if this was the other way around there would be outrage.
Nothing is stopping anyone from getting into this space, no one has campaigned to get any gender, race or sexual orientation in this space, if your statistics are correct then the real question is "Why do women not gravitate towards crypto".
A lot of the code is open source and freely available on the internet. I was not approached by anyone saying "Hey check this out" I used google, anyone can do the same. I feel this is very inappropriate and offensive to women as is your profile picture.
Whoa. Sheos 😀😀 already gravitating toward this...amazing to see more ladies and seeing them pull this off. It will encourage more ladies and guys as well to admire and try this out too. Check out those mad skillz. Doesn't mean that guys can't join and learn from them as well. "...all efforts to educate and engage women, and all people, in the EOS community and our community benefit project!"
Thank you for supporting! The GIF is perfectly fitting
Great project! I hope this will have a positive effect for women around the world, and inspire them to pursue technical skills and careers. Another day, another amazing project for EOS. You are all successful women, and I wish you even more success in the future as potential Block Producers.
Thank you! Community support is EVERYTHING! Deeply grateful, we are shEOS!
Great initiative, i would definitely live to be a part of it, i would love to see microfinancing solutions on the blockchain as it is a proven concept that has helped the unbanked in Nigeria
Wow! How inspiring this all is! We're a tech company based on blockchain and crypto too, so it's refreshing to see women take the lead with ambitious projects like this one! Well done. Can't wait to see the outcomes!
So excited, what a team!!
