When I first read about Ethereum in 2017, I just knew Ethereum would bring about cryptocurrency and Blockchain adoption because with Ethereum you can build decentralized applications (dapps) at a small fee.
Ethereum paved the way for most new tokens trading right now in the market. That's the reason why I so much respect Vitalik for his brilliant and smart contribution to the crypto space.
We've seen the success of decentralized apps built with fees on ETH Blockchain with transaction time of 15s +. We've seen millions of dollars raised through this Blockchain, but what will a decentralized app built on a Blockchain with 0.5s transaction speed be like? Well, we'll know by June, but for now, the video below shows the different dapps that will be on eos and which of them will be airdropping some of their tokens.

Eventually, a lot of blockchains will have all those apps. Many of them can exist here as well, especially once we have SMTs. Hoping for them with EOS won't make them come any faster there.
@donkeypong, I guess SMTs actually synonymous to dapps in scope if I'm right?
No, dapps in the Steem ecosystem would be any Steem- or SMT-powered application, such as Dtube, eSteem, Busy, Appics, etc. SMTs will be a vehicle anyone can use to monetize via Steem, essentially creating their own branded version of Steem within the same ecosystem, and each of them powering communities, dapps, sites, and external content partners.
