I dont disagree with this decision but I do worry about the precedent thats now been set. BP's will certainly have to work for their blocks.

I get the fear, but this really is the right decision. If we (the community) do not like an action a block producer(s) take we can rally to get them voted out.
Hopefully, that doesn't happen because I don't think the decision would have been taken lightly. I wouldn't have liked to be the one making this decision. But, the fact that EOS holders have been protected is important.
