RE: !! EOS ICO - Registering a Public Key !!
Can others confirm this?
You can register your public key more easily through the metamask interface?

A thing that bothers me is that I clicked the GENERATE EOS KEY few times and each time it was giving me different private and public keys. Should I assume that the ones that are valid are the last ones I've copied?
Sorry for the late reply, maybe you've figured it out by now. You have to process the transaction by sending 0 ETH + the suggested GAS price in order for the keys to be finalized. So if you haven't done that yet, the keys aren't registered. If you have, they will stay on the page (assuming you're using the metamask/ chrome app.
I did it today. I purchased using metamask and used their Metamask interface to register my public key.
You DO NOT have to use the command line to get involved in the EOS ICO!
Do you have any idea how to claim your eos tokens if you used the ethereum wallet desktop app?
Good, however I can't figure out how to do that - I'm copying the public key from https://eos.io/distribution/, but I'm not sure where should I paste it and confirm it. Any kind of help will be highly appreciated.
Every contributor has a unique public key for their EOS wallet. Are you using the metamask interface from the EOS.io website? When you open the interface, it gives you the option to generate a public key, then registers it for you...
I see..well public key was loading...but it didnt register. I ll rey again soon.
