The goobermint has begun targeting exchanges like this lately unfortunately...my friend cashed out his bitcoin cash and they seized it (40+k) almost immediately since he sent it to a linked bank account. Glad you were able to get yours out without any problems.
It is really getting out of control. The expatriation taxes piss me off too. I really what to move someplace that has no capital gains tax!
