Simply because of the fact, that Cardano is a nice scientific driven project and EOS has the full power of developers and real life usability behind its back. While the scientists behind Cardano are calculating the best way how a blockchain can work, EOS is doing it and proofing the value of the blockchain for daily interactions. True! EOS is much more nearer to the market than Cardano. On EOS you can already test your development on the testnet and they are moving very fast in terms of development and improvements on their code. IMO there are no chances that cardano can come out with a development in the near timeframe. EOS has Daniel Larimer and he knows exactly how shit is gonna work. Cardano is a very interesting idea, but there is no light at the end of the tunnel for now.
