At first, Proof-of-Works seems like a fine system. But now it's more like proof of, "wasted electricity or energies" for the sake of obtaining coins and securing the networks. If this trends continues, if PoW is the way to go, I worry about this planet's future. There's gotta be something better, we need the change, better one and cleaner one. And as someone who's living in third world country, I just want to say that Energy doesn't come cheap, it's sad to see people wasting them for the sake of obtaining arbitrary numbers.
