BIG UPDATE 27.05.2019
Spring is in the air - but it doesn’t affect our productivity :) Last few weeks we’ve dedicated to the development of a several serious improvements and now we are happy to announce that they are finally ready!
Forks are no longer the problem
Forks are constantly happening in the EOS network. Though it doesn’t affect the majority of users, such incidents could lead to incorrect functioning of our dapp (because of its complex logic and strictly determined order of actions). We’ve changed the mechanism of validating of received and confirmed transactions and now this problem is solved - forks (or other circumstances that can cause the rejection of the transaction) don’t affect the game anymore.
The game is more stable
One of the main feature of PokerChained - the absence of back-end code. Shuffling of the deck is happening by every player each after each - that’s why it is necessary for every player to transfer the corresponding keys in time (otherwise the game “breaks”). We are constantly working on it - for example, in the previous update we’ve made sure that the game finishes correctly every time the river is dealt and (as a temporary measure) implemented the system of fees.
In the current release FOLD means the transfer of keys. This way players that folded can’t influence the gameplay anymore. Also we are working on the update that will solve this problem completely.
Fixing the error with blinds
We’ve fixed the error that was leading to paying big blind by the same player two times in a row. In the next major release we’ll also fix the order of blinds during heads up.
Besides that we’ve fixed minor bugs and have made several optimizations of the contract. Also we are working on the next major update that will be ready very soon :) Thank you for staying with us!
