EOS NIGERIA COMMUNITY STRUCTURE AND OWNERSHIP DISCLOSURE

in #eos6 years ago (edited)

EOS Nigeria is registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as a Non-Profit organization with a focus on providing emerging technology education, building and empowering blockchain communities.

EOS Nigeria is community funded and It is also modeled to operate as a Decentralized Autonomous Community (DAC). This means that everyone involved with EOS Nigeria from the serving custodians to community leaders, programmers, content writers, graphic designers, community managers, service providers etcetera are all at the same time workers (employees), partners and owners of EOS Nigeria.

Funding of EOS Nigeria initiatives has been solely through the donations of EOS Nigeria community leaders and members. We strongly believe that as we keep adding value to the EOS ecosystem in Africa, Our works will be noticed globally and we will be voted up as one of the paid block producers (BP). And as a paid BP we will be able to fast track the accomplishment of our roadmap.

The plan is that all of the block rewards that will be eventually earned will be ploughed back into adding more value to the EOS Ecosystem particularly within Africa. From conducting more educational programs across Africa to engaging more institutions in the public and private sector towards using enterprise solutions built on eosio to incentivising community members to keep on working on/with eosio.

As the EOS Nigeria community grows and we Identify new talent, we will be adding more members to the community leadership structure. For now, these are the Operational managers and community leaders coordinating the activities of EOS Nigeria:
