Block One Taking A Bigger Role With EOS
Block one has recently decided to start voting with its 100 million EOS tokens. This could put the company in a very powerful position on the network.
Some find this problematic that Block.one is now involved in selecting block producers, while others think it poses no risk. Keep in mind that their share gets dilluted over time as well.
Block.one themselves say that they have a responsibility to participate as a active minority voting member, and that they will allocate votes to BP's that share the core valus to maximize the integrity and potential of the EOS network.

Right thoughts you have @eosmastering, and set them cool
I believe this is a good thing. I have been watching the votes and I am not impressed with what is going on. Bitfinex is using its power as an exchange to use proxy voting that in so many cases the BP's who are in the top 50 and collecting daily EOS have less then 50 -60% diversity in voting. I believe that all those in the top 50 should have 70% diversity from and by the people and EOS holders. Of all these companies that hold 6% diversity, even 50% diversity are they actually subsiduries of bitfinex collecting millions monthly while doing nothing? So If they are going to allow an exchange to rule EOS then Blockone needs to come in to balance the playing field. Those who are actually legit and doing the work need to be put in a place to actually get paid for the work they are doing. It is the only true way to assure EOS existance. Putting a diversity of countries in power to represent the people of the world. We do not need what we have already in this world, one country or company controlling everything.
