Japan 1st EOS meet up in Tokyo University
8th May 2018, EOSJapan-JEDA(Japan EOS Developer Association) held the very 1st EOS meet-up in Tokyo University Hongo Campus ITO hall. The general moderator is the C0-founder of JEDA Mr. Masanori Mitani who has held over 20 years work experience in security field and bank service.
At the meet-up, we have invited Michael Cao-From EOS global VC, Associate Professor of University of Tokyo, Japanese cryptocurrency officials, also EOSeoul, blockchain developers and EOS supporters over 200 people have joined the whole event.
As a pioneering presence of blockchain technology in Japan. JEDA provides common recognition to EOS, dissemination of EOS technology, promoting the blockchain industry, establish the EOS community, support for developers. So that, JEDA has decided to be the EOS 'block producer' candidate. We will contribute to the long-term and stable contribution to the construction of the EOS ecosystem.

In the future, JEDA will be the EOS base of Japan and give the strong support and as much resources as we can to those DAPP developers who wants to contribute more energy on EOS. Hope the development of blockchain technology will bring new innovation to Japanese technology and economy.
