We met Ofer at the remainings of a late-night gathering from the Alchemist Money Summit back in June. We were very impressed by Ofer and here is why he will make an excellent addition to the panel:

Ofer Rotem is an active Israeli angel investor in blockchain related startups since 2013.

As one of the early investors in digital currency startups, Ofer has a vast knowledge of the workings of blockchain technology, its practical applications, and the governance issues that it may imply. Since he likes to work with his portfolio companies, he is a sought-after advisor and investor.

A few highlights:

• Invested in more than 15 startups
• One of the founders of the Israeli Bitcoin Association (2013)
• Co-founded the Forum of the Israeli Blockchain Industry (2018) and initiated weekly meetings with the Israeli regulator (Israeli Security, Tax and other authorities, Central Bank, etc).
