Happy October everyone! We’d like to provide a brief look back at the past two months and also give a glimpse of what’s in store this Fall.

Recap

We hope everyone enjoyed our celebration of mid-Autumn festival in September.

Changing the look of the site is a fun and festive way to celebrate different holidays and periods around the world, and we plan to continue this.

At the end of September we added ETH acceptance. We plan to hold a few events towards the end of the year aimed at showing Ethereum users the power of EOS (if you remember, we got our start on ETH! We hope others see the light as well).

We also witnessed our single largest day of BTC dividends, with a whopping 1.26 BTC paid to BET token holders. Non-EOS bets continues to comprise a larger portion of total volume, and we expect this trend to continue.

Exchange Updates

We continue to see good volume on both NewDex and Binance DEX. Since August, BET tokens have traded in the $0.06-$0.012 range.

We continue to operate our team buyback. To date, 481,669 BET tokens have been purchased and burnt. This accounts for over 1.5% of circulating supply.

Additionally, EOSBet will be joining the Binance DEX Alliance, an association of projects that have successfully migrated to Binance Chain and are committed to the Binance ecosystem. We’ll release a post about this over the next few days.

EOS Network Instability

Following the EOSIO v1.8 upgrade, some bugs were introduced into our system. EOSIO 1.8 has brought a lot of API nodes offline, as well as introduced failures into the transaction pushing mechanisms of EOS nodes. The team has been extremely hard at work this week patching these new bugs and we are finally getting back to normal.

Please let us know if you are experiencing any bugginess with the site. The developers are on stand-by and ready to fix any issue you are experiencing.

Also, due to repeated EOS network "stress testing", CPU costs have been very high on the network at some points. We recommend all of our bettors sign up for an EOSBet account!

Looking Ahead

Before the end of the year, we will also be releasing a page where users can check the status of their referrals, including how much they’ve earned to date. Following this addition, we’ll hold some referral competitions!

Our marketing team has recently begun a number of new initiatives. You’ve probably seen the Telegram promotions, EOSBet account sign-up bonuses, and twitter competitions we’ve been running.

The two twitter competitions we’ve run so far have performed well, bringing in new users and volume to the site.

We’re currently running various banner ads, such as this one on bitcoinnews.com.

This quarter will also see us working with well-known Youtubers/streamers, executing a large PR blast, publishing an article on Hackernoon, and tapping into Discord.

Lastly, we’re looking to hire two new members to the EOSBet team. The first is an experienced full-stack developer. The second is marketing manager with experience in growth hacking, marketing campaigns, SEO, and ideally, online casinos.
