I think the John Oliver bit is good for EOS, bad publicity is still publicity. If people who watched and got curious of EOS, they will do their research and learn more about EOS. That's what happened to me. Just a confirmation EOS is currently useless because it's still an ERC20 token right? It will only be used when the main net launches. That's what I read about EOS weeks ago and there might be some people who read it too.

    Yeah google search trends for EOS seem to be trending back up since the episode. Yeah, currently just a useless ERC20 token only good for trading. Real EOS will be available when the main net launches this summer
