EOS utility and implementation ? EOSfinex exchange announcement

I m new to STEEMIT and this is my first post, it has the objective to think about the utility of EOS coin that will be released in a few months.
Is it the new ethereum killer ? i don't think so, but it might have the potential to be on the top 10 coins if it will be implemented because it offers many options.
yesterday Bitfinex announced that they will build an exchange "EOSfinex" on the EOS blockchain, these are good news and i hope there will be a lot more before the EOS coin launch.
