RE: Bitcoin Latina Moving...To Be An EOS Based Blockchain?????

in #eos7 years ago (edited)

Thanks @taskmaster4450
Out of what I'm reading I can see 2 possible options:

  1. BitcoinLatina will take EOS software and launch independent blockchain. Thing similar to forking of any known crypto. People who participated in EOS ICO won't get anything here. Distribution of EOS tokens (currently ERC20) will be replaced with disctribution of Bitcoin Latina tokens.
  2. More likely. Bitcoin Latina will become one of the EOS platform token (similarly like Etherium has plenty of ERC20 tokens on its platform)

What could this mean for Bitshares in case BTS will somehow join/unite with EOS? Most probably BTS might become EOS based dApp...

I haven't yet spent enough time to educate myself on EOS, so above are just my thoughts that could be wrong.

Sort:

I would be led to your conclusions too except for the part that makes it appear that EOS isnt launching its own blockchain. I knew that EOS was going to be akin to an operating system yet I presumed there would be a blockchain to build upon.

Perhaps each token created will be responsible for their own blockchain....using the EOS software.

If that is the case, then BTS could implement EOS software into theirs..if approved as @cryptographic mentioned.
