What is MASDACS?
Meaning Mutual Aid Society (MAS) Decentralized Autonomous Communities (DACS), MASDACS is where all your favorite platforms out there such as Steemit, Golos and Medium meet in one central publishing hub.
And it won't stop there... we will be connecting up with MANY more in the coming months!
Imagine the Possibilities
At first you may find this to be an overwhelming proposition, keeping track of so many different accounts to post on multiple platforms, but it's no different than what everyone already does with current 'non-paying' centralized social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc. The upside will be well worth the effort.
You will have genre-specific communities popping up that will allow you to share your content with people you know will accept what you create with open arms and reward you fairly for your efforts and contributions. This will help lower the level of hostility and content censorship you have with a single platform scenario like we have now. Imagine posting your content on 3 or 4 crypto-backed blockchain sites and getting rewarded for it on all of them.
Even if your content is controversial on one or more, and you take heat for it, you will be well-received on others. This gives you more opportunities to earn rewards for your content.

I tried but got this error message:
I double checked with Sublime Text for invalid permalink character and there was non and when I tried to post it via steemit it worked.
So I don't know why and what was the problem.

Thank you Danyel for testing and giving your feedback. Can you put the link to the post you created on Steemit, that did not work on MASDACs, so the dev can look to compare what part threw the error?
I tried it the first timelast week but had some issues with the tags and fuzzy helped me via discord so this is all cool now :)

It looks easy enough to use. However it desperately needs an FAQ or "About this service" that explains basics as to why this is better than posting to each network better. How the beneficiary rewards work for people posting through the system.
..and something to give confidence to users this isn't some scam website but a real trustworthy place.
Yep, I agree and FAQs are in the works. I know Fuzzy just wanted to get this out there for "real world" testing to get the ball rolling.

I tried this with my last steem post(via web) and it worked perfectly fine for me.
I was surprised to see some cool features on Post Option, but not sure whether they work or not so I made a post by disabling the curation rewards and steem/sbd slider to too low just to check these functions. Do they work?
Some feature suggestions.
Please add the ability to save multiple no. of drafts, I really want to see this feature on steemit itself because there's no way to recover previous drafts when overridden by the newer one.
Please add an option to clear or delete saved drafts too.
It's irritating not to find a proper way to close or minimize these pop-ups.One should have disappeared automatically when I click on other info.It really took me sometime until I realize how it works.
I tried with only post and I am still now familiar with all the possible options here.I want to check that signature feature in my next post and will update about it.

We don't all know markdown or want to spend the time learning that or html
I think the preview screens are a little small for both signature and content. I would remove tags, platforms and settings from the right of the screen and put them under the preview option, or remove the preview and have it as an option button.
When you click the ? to get info, you must reclick the ? to remove the text. this is rather annoying and you should just be able to click away from the text and it go.
Profile page should allow profile info and allow you log in and out of masdacs
now some questions
the option to allow curation reward, how does this effect posts payouts for curators on made to steemit?

Just did my first post using masdacs.io and for the most part it went fairly smooth. Had some troubles with markdown images in preview
Also after hitting publish there was an options to 'view on steemit' which just bought up a blank.
Just a comment that the preview not having a white background makes images with white backgrounds look bad.
Anyone know how to get a golos account? I try registering and get a confirmation back from the code I text, but can't seem to get to the next step.

The background color does need to be adjusted a little. Technically the BG color here on steemit is not white, it's very light grey (#fefefe) so we still see white box issues here too, but it would be good to have the color match in the preview window to be the same for sure.
I have not tried Golos yet, but that is on my list to try next.
Ya, the background color was just an observation and not a big deal, the not processing of markdown code correctly is the thing that really stuck out.
I was able to setup a Golos account, it was a bit sketchy, but I did respond within 30 seconds of me sending the text message with the code.
After that I put my account name, email etc It did throw an error after waiting abotu 2 minutes. But I opened new window and found my account was actually created. So it seems they have similar "network broadcast" issues Steemit was having. (maybe on new account with low golos power?)
I'm also having the same issue with signing up for golos.
🚀 Tonight I published our EOSTalk LIVE announcement post to both Steemit and Golos using MASDACS.io. Here are my notes on my first time posting to both at the same time.
To speed things along I created the initial post from a template I use each week on Steemit. You will notice the HTML/Markdown around the main image shows in the preview although it publishes correctly showing just the image in the final posts (Steemit and Golos).
📸 I wanted to test some of the other feedback about adding images to the post so I removed the image code and attempted to drag/drop in an image like we do on Steemit - this functionality does not work yet, it will switch to a new page showing the image itself. When you click 'back' to return to MASDACS you will find your the form field was cleared and you have to start again. Copy/pasting in images does not seem to work yet either.
I was forced to upload on Steemit from the post form and grab the image code to put into my MASDACS post.
Note: Adding in tags one at a time (youtube style) is 'ok' but frustrating when we are used to dropping in many at once.
I clicked "publish" and both of my posts were created successfully on Steemit and Golos one at a time.

Once closing the posting message box I was returned to the form with the same post filled in. I took that time to test the Save & Load Draft features, they worked fine. But people need to understand it is a one-off feature, it's not going to keep multiple posts in memory.
For my next post tomorow - I will set up an account on Medium using https://test.masdacs.io and test posting to ALL 3 at the same time as well as test the signature feature.
It would be good to have the account sign-up link for Medium added to the side bar as well.
I can't log in. I input my steem name with the @sign and my posting key but the save which is in blue wouldn't highlight. I tried severaly even in desktop mode but still nothing. Although I kept seeing saved on top but I was confused. I clicked on the three line button on the left top and it took me to profile and then publish a post, I did publish a post but the posting button looked dead to me also perhaps maybe because I wasn't signed in
Although it works on markdown perfectly

The sites lacks certain features. The profile page should have a proper profile where you set up your personal info like other steem apps for posting.
When I tried publishing it kept saying at least one tag even when I had five tags already.

you are right about that, its only logging in through desktop, and won't log in in mobile.
Thank you for testing the site and giving your feedback. We will have the devs check on the mobile posting issue and get back to everyone for further testing. It seems to work fine for everyone on a desktop computer, but has an issue with mobile phones.
i can't login -
reason's - Save key looks dead /not active /not responding to clicks /
after i input my steemit name and also my posting key, clicking save,
the light blue became deep blue but seems irresponsive, i clicked severally to check if it will save my details but no it didn't, so i switched my phone to Desktop Mode to see if it will trigger like in some cases or create an account, it also proves abortive,
i decided to check if it was a wrong detail, i used the same steemit key on golos to sign up.
it still did not respond non send an error message about post key wrong or not golos posting keys.

I will have to go check on my phone, for me it worked on desktop. I got a message at the top "Message: Saved!" when I clicked the save button.
UPDATE: I get same on my phone - Samsung / Android Chrome
The problem is you have to scroll up to see the "saved" message. There is no page response/action to the top to let you know it was saved.
Some kind of action, maybe closing the accounts div or scrolling to the top of the screen to let you know it was saved would help.
Once you save your account name/key you don't need to "log in" later, it keeps that data browser stored. You can just start posting.
sure, i thought about this, and tried posting but the posting click looks dead and not responding, due to the fact it hasn't logged in, its working perfectly on desktop, markdown is great, profile is kinda looking berserk

Happy to see this new platform, however on their Twitter that link reference does not say anything about this new platform https://masdacs.io/profile only looks a puppy. It would be great that on Twitter is also the information on this new platform. Be aware of the improvements to use this platform that will be a success in the Community Steemit
