Central Kalimantan Haze - 2015 - Market Run

This was during the 3 month long haze crisis in 2015. The smoke was like this every day and was the most depressing time of my life. Many families around this area lived in wooden houses where the smoke would seep through the gaps. On 4 September 2015, the Indonesian National Board for Disaster Management stated that six Indonesian provinces had declared a state of emergency due to the haze.

This video is my trip to the local market. It was rare for me to venture outside as the smell of peat smoke was horrendous.
