200 lbs of garbage removed from MoBay beach - Marine Conservation News
Lifting of pandemic restrictions brings more litter and tropical storms slow the ability of volunteers to pick up said litter. Jamaica Environment Trust (JET), alongside Coca-Cola Jamaica, the non-profit group Ocean Conservancy, Motego Bay Park Marine Trust, Operation Help the People, University of Technology Jamaica, Wester Campus and Corinaldi Avenue and Barracks Road primary schools picked up of over 200 pounds of litter (with a focus on palastic bottles) from the local Old Hospital Park Beach othis past Saturday.
