The Bible. I've learned MORE about business from this book than all of the others. Still my "go to" book for answers.
Strength Finder 2.0 by Tom Rath. NEARLY every entrepreneur I know has read this book and taken the test, it NAILED both me and my wife and what are strengths are and what we're suppose to do.
The One Thing, by Gary Keller.
The Slight Edge, by Jeff Olson.
HWJDB How Would Jesus Do Business? by Kevin Cullis (yes, me). Research into how Jesus would have done business.
Switch On Your Brain by Dr. Caroline Leaf. Tells you about neuroplasticity, how your brain actually CAN change over time, the biology of our brains.
mindset by Dweck. Having a growth mindset sets you up for success.
When Helping Hurts, by Steve Corbett and Brian Fikkert. When you see how charity and NGO (non-governmental organizations) actually hurt given aid to others. They even kill industries and squander resources, it makes you think twice about our taxes and giving. Also, you have to watch the documentary Poverty, Inc. on iTunes, Netflix, or Amazon Prime.
The E-Myth Revisited, by Michael E. Geber. The craft of your business is what you love, but the business of your craft is how you make money.
Profit First, by Mike Michalowicz. You do NOT have to be a struggling and starving entrepreneur, artist, or coder ("Will code for food!"). You CAN earn a living at what you love to do.
I, Pencil, by Leonard E. Read. A story about economics and business.
The Theory of Moral Sentiments, by Adam Smith. The ethics of economics.
The Wealth of Nations, by Adam Smith. The results of ethics, economics.
Half Time,, by Bob Buford. Once you attain wealth, now what?
The Law, by Frederic Bastiat. How our representatives can bamboozle us into believing laws can make a difference.
Economics in One Lesson, by Henry Hazlitt.
Rich Dad, Poor Dad, by Robert Kiyosaki. Best description of the difference between having a JOB (Just Over Broke) and creating wealth.

Yea, me too. I didn't think it would affect my thinking about business, but it does. Mostly that being in business is being a moral business, "love your neighbor as yourself." It's about mutual prosperity between two or more people.
