Hi guys!

today I want to introduce you to my company, which I founded with some colleagues of mine!

As mentioned in my 'introducemyself' post I was in progress of founding my own company for us to try out what we want to do and develop over time. This is meant in both ways: We want to grow personally as a group and individuals, but also improve our abilities to lead a company and be creative at the same time.

In Germany we have different kinds of companies. Ours is called a GbR (Gesellschaft bürgerlichen Rechts / Partnership organized under the civil code). This means until we make a sales value of 17.500€ a year, we don't have to pay any sales taxes and until we reach a volume of 50.000€ we don't have to show our finances to the government. For us this was the perfect fit, since if we are not able to do a whole lot or fail at building a product, we don't have any commitments.
Also we are able to be unspecified about the field of our activities, where we simply put "Development of concepts and Product in the IT Branch".

For now, I want to give you some insight on our first product.

The Development Progress

At the moment we are in progress of developing some motivational posters as our first product. This includes us researching the market, looking out for competition as well as developing the product in a most efficient way.

When we were starting to look at the market, the knowledge we got was kind of surprising. When talking about the market for motivational posters, which are not some sort of copyright or old sucked out quotes, is not too big. Therefore we think we have a fair chance of actually selling some of our posters.
Our idea was to keep it simple. No big images, not a whole lot of things around the actual message we want to get across.

That way we startet collecting some quotes we found on the internet, and started listening to motivational speakers more frequently. Most of them are actually quite good and inspirational. Sometimes makes you think about yourself and what you can be, when you put in your everything, on order to achieve everything.
What came out was a short .txt file with some quotes in it.

The first design that came out shortly after, looked like this:

As of right now we are still working on a design and switched to simple one-colored backgrounds and depending on the background a black or white quote.

The Future

For the close future we plan to bring out 4 posters out on amazon, or trying to sell them ourselves, contacting especially start-up companies or asking around in our environment, if people are interested in what we did and want to get some more motivation, buying our product, a great motivational poster. If this all will go well, we might produce more different posters.
