I am tired

Hello everyone, I am new here. I just got an approval mail a twilight ago.
My story is not entirely something I would consider new to everyone coming across it here. At least, some persons who had once been through this phase of discomfort could easily relate.
It is, however, a story hinged upon the rigours of entrepreneurship, and the pressing urge to seek a job, during the trying periods of dire cash-needs.
For an upward of 1 year now, I have been a freelancer, after resigning from a taxing 9-5 job. At first, I was undaunted, not until a year has passed with little or no achievement. And yes, more cashless than ever.
This is not to say I am reconsidering my standpoint at being in control of my time. Nay! My concern is just that, despite all efforts made consciously, why does it appear as though I am living in a fool's paradise as a young Entrepreneur? Has anybody felt this way before?

Ps: my niche is writing and other language-related activities.
