Season 7 of Game of Thrones Will Be Out In Nine Days!!
Just nine more days! And the trailers for season seven have been out for a while now, so we're not completely in the dark anymore. People have been speculating about the seventh season well before the release of the trailers, and now we have a chance to refine our predictions. Unlike the previous seasons, this season doesn't have a book to go off of. Not that the show has been a mere reenactment of the text at all, as the writers have taken the liberty to change more than just minor elements. Sometimes the character details are swapped, or parts of their storylines removed completely, and sometimes entire plotlines are entirely original. Still, there were always some at least some arcs from the books that made it into the season, but now it's completely "unscripted" in a sense.
That means that guesses on major events are now all fair game. I'd made some earlier, and have yet to see them confirmed or denied by the trailers. They still might not happen this season, since season 8 has been confirmed already (and with feature length episodes!). Anyway, my predictions are probably half what I actually think will happen, and half what I really want to happen. Here are the big ones:
Arya will kill the Mountain--what's left of him--somehow. I think she'll attempt to assassinate him stealthily, but will be forced to fight him head on before defeating him.
Jon and Sansa will get into a relationship. This will get Peter scheming against Jon, but will fail and eventually lead to his downfall.
Jamie will kill Tyrion, because he'll kill him before talking to him. Jamie will also kill Cersei, because she'll go crazy with power and do something drastic. Then Jamie will kill himself, because he killed Cersei and has nothing left (except tons of money I guess).
What do you guys think? Let me know, and also throw out some of your own predictions below!
Oh yea, in case you haven't seen any trailers, here's one of them:
Can't wait, it's been to long between but I know it will be worth the wait
Yea, it was even longer than usual this time. Plus there'll only be 7 or 8 episodes, with the last episode being longer.
We find out that they really do live in the eye of a blue-eyed giant named Macumber.
Haha, if they really ended it like that...best series of all time???
