Introduce myself

Hi, i'm Princess from Nigeria, i study English and Literature in University of Benin, Benin City. I am a girl who loves Music, also a poet who enjoys writing and loves reading poets. I mostly write when i feel either very excited, very emotional or sad.

Here is a piece of my writing which is actually the first poem i wrote:

You stole every bit of my joy...
I thought u were broken for good.
You are a betrayal
But your presence and ability caused
My existence.
You are more like a stranger
Going after others in search of warmth.
I called u mine even when u run into
The arms of others.
I got u mended each time u run
Unto me broken,
I thought u would change
I thought u would grow in age and wisdom
But u are ever the same.
The pains u caused me always created bad memories, each making me ride on trauma.
You are my heart, whose utmost and active presence is needed...
But I wish you could learn to do away
with your personality that makes you
amplify your feelings.
