Clash Royale -- Triple Elixir Challenge -- advice
For those of you who play Clash Royale, you are likely aware that there is currently a Triple Elixir Challenge going down for the next day and a half. Just a few words of advice to do well in the challenge.
- DON'T try to copy decks from other players who destroy you.
I'm guilty of doing this myself every once in awhile. It almost always fails, especially with modes like this where you need to reply on higher level troops in order to do some decent damage and to defend your towers well.
Oops!
- DO use decks that you are familiar with
The fact that you are gaining elixir at triple speed, it goes without saying that you need to have EXTREMELY quick reaction time with your troop placement and defense. If you are using troops you are not familiar with, you are more likely to make a mistake during placement. Oops, why did I drop those Skeletons and that Minion Horde right in front of that Executioner!!??
You get my point.
- USE YOUR LEVELED UP CARDS!
This sort of goes along with the one above. Use familiar decks or troops that you have leveled up. I played against a player that dropped a level 8 Goblin Gang that was easily wiped out by my level 12 Zap. He likely copied a deck from another guy who smoked him.
- Focus on the game and resist the temptation of bragging
Everybody loves dropping the laughing and thumbs up emojis when they are up. Or the most douchiest one of all, spamming "Thanks!" when you take a tower. Keep your eye on the battle, you cocky bastard, because...
...because Karma
Bottom line: Use what you know. After all, it's the same concept as a normal battle, without any of the extra crap, except faster. Don't try to overthink it and you'll win at least 3-5 matches before you get the three strikes.
Good luck!
