RE: TGIF WITH @jeaniepearl....(EPISODE 13)
I always look forward to your show. Keep up the good work!☺
My view on virginity is that every man for himself.
Let humans make their individual choices and be responsible for the consequences that comes with it.
Marriage is a serious issue and attaching virginity to it does not guarantee a happy marriage.
A lot of persons are just enduring their marriages, but they can't leave because of pressure and stigma from family, friends, religion and the society at large. And the fear of being alone.
Anyone who wants to be a virgin, fine.
Anyone that does not want to be one, fine.
No one is more better than the other.
But, let it be done with responsibility.
And preferably at the age of 18 and 20.
And preferably with someone you love and who loves you back.
Although, sometimes celibacy helps alot.
I saw a post on social media about break ups and its effects on women.
Some women admitted that being celibate while dating helped them move on easily after the break up.
While some women said that they were affected by the breakups deeply because they had sex in the relationship and felt bad it ended.
As a lady, if you must do it, insist on a condom. I heard there is a female condom too.
Pregnancy can happen.- If this happens, especially if the guy does not have plans on getting married yet or to you. Your life may be on hold for some years.
Motherhood is not moimoi or coldstone icecream.
STD is real.
Abortion is a risk.
Single motherhood still remains a stigma.
