1985 WWF Signature done in Adobe After Effects

I'm a huge follower of pro wrestling and I've mostly been found of WWE. The 80s was a special time in the wrestling industry no matter what territory or federation you followed.

The World Wrestling Federation was the big dog though. I remember the first time I saw anything from the WWF. I was flipping channels and I happened up a show called WWF Superstars Of Wrestling and they were showing highlights of a match between Randy "Macho Man" Savage vs. Tito Santana. Savage cheated in order to defeat Santana for the WWF Intercontinental Heavyweight Championship. After that day, I was hooked.

One of the major hooks of the WWF back then were their graphics for their shows. Starting sometime in the mid 80s they came out with a signature that would be seen before every televised broadcast. Seeing it now just brings back so many memories. I saw some people try to recreate the animation in After Effects with less than desirable results. So I decided to try my hand at it.
