Disneyland Paris, formerly Euro Disney Resort and Disneyland Resort Paris, is a tourist and urban complex of 22.30 km2 (2,230 ha) located for the most part in the commune of Chessy (Seine-et-Marne), at thirty-two kilometers east of Paris. The resort features two theme parks - Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park - as well as hotels and a golf course, while the urban complex intensifies the fabric of Sector IV of Marne-la-Vallée through the Val d ' Europe Agglomeration. The site is favored by many transports, including an extension of the RER line A in service since April 1, 1992 and financed by the region, road infrastructure such as the link with the A4 motorway and a train station TGV subsidized by the French State and inaugurated on May 29, 1994.

The complex is operated by the Euro Disney Group1, listed on the Paris Stock Exchange from 1989 to 2017, when the Walt Disney Company bought 97.08% of the shares and consequently withdrew its listing2.
