Hello everyone, first of all, I am very excited to return to Steemit and write something at here after many years. I started Steemit in 2017 and afterwards I actively used Steemit for about 2 years. After a while, Steem and Sbd lost their former value I stopped entering Steemit because I had to focus on my school.

Now when I see that Sbd and Steem have gained their former value, I want to come back to this platform to produce useful content for people and if my content is liked, I want to make some money.

So how can we bring back old users who have disappeared over the years and make Steemit much more popular?

Most of the people use similar popular social media apps like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter. Providing a new alternative for these platforms is a difficult task.

So what distinguishes Steemit from a classic social media platform?

First of all, Steemit is a platform that wants original content to be produced and has strict controls on this issue. If you are not producing original content, you will not be welcomed by Steemit users. However, most of the people who use social media want to comfortably share and use the content they see in other people’s profiles . In other words, the desire to produce original content is not too much in most social media users. In this case, Steemit users must be educated individuals.

The user base must be individuals with a high level of education and at the same time, these people must be interested in cryptocurrencies, this reason reducing the potential user population of the Steemit so much.

In this case, first of all, Steemit community managers should give effective advertisements to explain the platform to people with high education level. This issue is very important because if those people are influential in their field and somehow produce original content, the idea of ​​earning additional income by doing what they already do will attract them. As individuals participating in the platform will recommend the platform to their close friends, the platform will naturally go into a rapid growth phase.

In this case, we will face with a new problem. How can we keep new users on the platform?

In 2017 we signed up with 4 close friends to the Steemit , but I was the one who produced the most content and earned money. Others, on the other hand, stopped producing content, saying that they could not get their equivalent money of their hard work after a few posts. And they were right. They earned only a few cents.

Giving guaranteed upvote to new registered individuals on Steemit platform when they produce original content will keep them on the platform. Thus, the number of users will increase and new users will be encouraged to come.Because it is very difficult to get an upvote from people with high Steem Power and if you cannot get an upvote even though you produce original content, there is no reason to connect you to this platform.

The second important point is that I think it should be abolished to charge a certain fee from new sign-ups to the platform. If you are a person who is far from the cryptocurrency market, you will never prefer to register on other platforms, buy Steem and pay here.

In summary, to make Steemit popular again;

1-Managers should promote the platform by making Steemit ads.
2-The original contents creators must be supported by Steemit itself.
3- Requesting a certain fee while registering should be removed.
