Starting a journey "Assembling a BTC Rig"...
Hello to the community of steemit, is that I've been a little paragraph platform, but among the many things to be busy selling items in my country, well today I have the opportunity to teach 3 rigs , which assemble to undermine bitcoin hope you like it! Enjoy!
Let's start with this, what we need to set up a rig? so easy, we need a good motherboard that have several entries Pci-Express and at the same time multiple satas entries. We also need video cards, a certified power supply that supports all the graphics cards to be used in this rig. A good processor and ram memory. In terms of hard disk, can be solid disks or as in my case to save a bit more using pendrive of 32 gb.
In My Case i Used Thouse:
- Asus Prime x370-PRO (Motherboard).
- Power Supply Thermalthake 850 Watts Plus Gold.
- Video Card ( RX 460 / RX 560 / GTX 1050Ti / GTX 1060).
Having everything ready, start with removing the motherboard from box, and place the thermal paste on the processor into the motherboard and put the stock cooler.
Proceed to place their respective ram memories, and we started to connect the power supply.
Cables that are not necessary, removed it source, for this reason i buyed semi-modular power supply.
After having all the wires ready, begin to place the Risers, and place the respective card graphic that is to be used, in this case msi rx 460. Connects the Riser with the sata power cable, from power supply, and usb to Pci-Express adapter riser, and from there connects to the motherboard.
There are video cards that use a power cable 4-pin, like going from the power supply to the motherboard, as well as cards that use 4-pin, there are cards that use 6 to 12 pins.
Having already done, all that remains is to proceed to power on, install Windows and start to mining!

Already after assembling the first rig of RX 460, is assemble the second Rx 560, and the last i used varied.
Today after getting wood to make something more decent, are running smoothly.
Finally I leave a video of 3 lighted rigs, running smoothly.
I am assembling the number 4, but the video cards are scarce, are very hard to get to assemble these 3 rigs, let them a photo of everything what spend between components.
This was the approximate in the month of January, collecting, updating and catching video cards which is the most difficult to obtain.
