Stress is Good or is it Bad?
Currently there is much talk of stress and many diseases are causes of stress.
But what is really the stress?
It is that amount of energy and disposition that the human being has to face a danger or some unforeseen situation or given by the same social or work environment where the person lives.
The human body in the face of stress generates a huge amount of hormones releasing them so that they can handle this situation, giving a response either to fight the problem or in the opposite case of flight, so in many situations the stress is good because we can use it as a tool for survival since in a first stage the heart is alarmed and breathing is accelerated and the nervous and endocrine systems are activated, then a second phase is resistance where new hormones are activated producing more carbohydrates in order to give more energy to the body.
Ultimately these stressful events are those that have the brain on alert making the body react better so if people manage to cope with stress with a positive approach they can learn to manage their effects in a better way, helping them to grow and develop their mental strength for new similar events in the future.
