Stuffed Pumps
Hello friends of steemit. Today I bring you a recipe to prepare some delicious Puffs filled with orange custard, They are very easy to make and I am sure that children and adults will like them a lot too.
Ingredients for the pastry cream:
50 grams of cornstarch
½ liter of milk
2 egg yolks
1 teaspoon of orange essence
150 grams of sugar
Preparation of pastry creams:
A pot pour all the ingredients and put them on a low heat, stir well until it thickens well then let it stand and is ready to fill your pumps.
Ingredients for the dough:
25 grams of yeast
2 eggs
500 grams of wheat flour
50 grams of unsalted margarine
70 grams of sugar
200 ml of warm milk
Frying oil (preferably corn oil or unflavored oil)
Preparation of the dough:
In a bowl add the flour in the form of mountain, and add the sugar, the egg, the margarine at room temperature and the yeast, mix very well and then gradually add the warm milk.
Knead well until the dough does not stick to your hands if necessary add flour while kneading. Then form a ball and let it rest for at least 1 and a half hours until the dough doubles its size.
After having spent time form several balls and place the balls on a tray, then let them rest another hour and a half so that the dough doubles its size.
After a while heat the oil in the satin or fryer over medium heat for 5 minutes and start frying the pumps, turn the pumps until they are brown on both sides, then put them to drain on absorbent paper.
When they are already at room temperature, make a side cut and careful not to cut completely, then fill with the custard and sprinkle with powdered or granulated sugar and are ready to eat.
