RE: The Hounds of Tindalos
Well, I got interested many years ago when I read one of Harry Dickson's adventures (the so-called American Sherlock Holmes) entitled The Red Studio, authored by Jean Ray, an unconventional writer based on Dee's famous black mirror. Later, I found a lot of information, especially biographical, in an interesting essay by the English writer Colin Wilson, entitled 'The Hidden';, which I recommend if you want to delve deeper into Dee's exciting story. Of course, I also read Foucault's Pendulum and some works related to one of the most famous codes, used precisely in the Bible and later adopted, among others, by the Knights Templar to transmit their messages. the Atbash code. Anyway, as you will see, some themes lead to others through mysterious and interesting connections. Cordial greetings
I heard about the atbash code while researching about ciphers and in Dan Brown´s Da Vinci Code. In the illustrated version. They shown the Hebrew alphabet and how to cipher and decipher the text.
I´ll check out Jean Ray´s and Colin Wilson´s work and I´ll give you mi impressions. Maybe, I´ll write another essay as I did with the hounds.
Thanks, again!!!
I'll write it with interest. Greetings
