Ethereum, Ripple, Dash and Monero among the currencies that increased the most today
Bitcoin fell slightly in price, 0.37% compared to yesterday. When it's 9:30 am in New York, its price is USD $ 17,231. However, the volume of transactions remains very high: 14.3 billion were exchanged in the last 24 hours. The capitalization market is 288 billion dollars.
For its part Ethereum continues to surprise its users. The cryptocurrency today passed the barrier of USD $ 700. At the moment it is at US $ 747.99, 25.19% higher than yesterday at the same time and 64.06% in relation to the previous week. It is a historical price that had not arrived. This price is more than twice what it was a month ago, when the currency was worth little more than USD $ 300.
But the one that draws attention today is Ripple, which had remained low profile in recent months, displaced by the growth of others. This currency now has a price of USD $ 0.46, 68.24% higher than yesterday. The number of transactions is very high (for the low value of the currency): the equivalent of 3.4 billion dollars has been exchanged in the last day. It is important to note that the largest number of transactions comes from the South Korean Bithumb exchange.
Two important growths, although in smaller percentage, are those of Dash and Monero, and they are important because they keep breaking record with respect to the prices they had. Dash rose 12.49% compared to yesterday and Monero grew by 10.30%.
Other increases to review, but in a smaller proportion are Bitcoin Cash in 4.90% and Litecoin in 3.95.
