Apple advances production of iPhone X Plus

Apple will soon begin production of three phones to launch in the fall, according to DigiTimes.

According to the report, this trio of cell phones, headed by a new size of 6.4 inches and informally known as iPhone X Plus, will go into trial production before the end of June and thus avoid the shortage of units - as happened with the iPhone X, that caused that the availability did not fulfill the demand during the first weeks of sale.

DigiTimes says that the iPhone X released last fall experienced bottlenecks in its production, mainly due to the lack of technology that gives life to the haptic 3D Touch function in the new OLED screen of the iPhone X. Apple would seek to avoid this by advancing the production of the three phones based on the iPhone X.

The report does not mention anything about the prices of these three phones, nor an exact release date. The advancement of production would not affect the presentation of cell phones. Apple is accustomed to launch new high-end phones in the fall of the year, so this time the plans would remain unchanged.

According to reports, these three phones to be launched this year will be based on the iPhone X we met last year, with a screen without bevels, a tab for TrueDepth and at least two models with an OLED screen.
