ARTISAN KNIVES MANUFACTURED BY MY HUSBAND.
Hello, here I have a production of handmade knives that my husband has made, I bring the information on how they can be made easily and quickly.
This consists of having a steel sheet, 8 centimeters wide by 25 centimeters long. We proceed to cut the sheet leaving a space where the handle of the knife goes, we look for a wood that we can use for the handle to give shape to the sleeve, of the knife that is being made, we will use any tool such as a grinder or a wood polisher. The sleeve is perforated with three holes so that between some rivets that will be placed to be able to hold the steel and the wood, with which the sleeve is made as you can see in some of the images that I will show below.
To whom is the steel sheet that was used.
we proceeded to mark it where the material was going to be cut.
This way I stay after the material is cut.
Here we get the shape of the knife.
Now the wood will be cut and so we can get the handle of the knife.
In this way we make the slot where the tail of the knife will enter.
After the sleeve is placed, we proceed to mark where the perforations will be made to the wood and steel.
Here the handle will be shaped with the polisher and to place the rivets.
We have the culmination of the knives in different ways.
