7 Points to Energize

Fatigue is one of the most common reasons people show up at the doctor's office.  

1) Check your thyroid but do not rely solely on a TSH which I use only as an indicator of pituitary axis response.  A TSH does not indicate thyroid hormone function.   

2) Develop stress management skills.  Poor stress handling  is a leading cause of exhaustion.

3) Check your testosterone level

4) Routine labs look for anemia, diabetes, liver disease, kidney disease, some blood cancers.  

5) Take the right kinds of supplements.   Too much caffeine, stimulants and artificial food additives may rev you up in the short term but will drain your adrenals before long.   If you feel tired but wired...your adrenals need help.

6) Eat more wholesome fruits and vegetables

7) Detox your body system
