To Sleep
Perhaps you are there now, at that intersection of wake and sleep, a moment before you cross the threshold into dreams. Falling upon you are the chains of uncertainties, weights of regrets, anxieties of serendipitous fortunes descending on you as if you’re the entertainment for those seated in Olympus. Smile, you’ll rise tomorrow, and the madness you feel now will fade with the closing of your eyes. Go into the night with a warriors fight. Tomorrow you’ll attack life again - and win or lose, you fought well.
