Discipline or Obsession ? ; Immanuel Kant

Kant's philosophy can also be spoken on the place and the importance, but he is also a star in the history of philosophy. But, like every philosopher, he had a strange and unique lifestyle. Every philosopher's life is often neurotic. This is especially true for Kant also. We can also say that he has a full German discipline because he is a German. He woke up at 4:55 in the morning and would sit at breakfast table when it hit five o'clock. Drink a few cups of tea, smoke the daily goblets and start preparing for the morning lesson.

Kant gave lessons between seven and nine in the reading room at the downstairs of his house. When the lesson was over, he goes to upstairs to write. When it was 12:45, the lunch time came. After he had some liqueur, the lunch started at exactly 13:00. Kant would not wait for lunch, because lunch was a social occasion and a chance to chat with others to him. Kant actually believed that conversation was helpful in digestion. He did not want the number of guests to be less than three and more than nine. Kant would never speak philosophy when eating and would not invite women to the table.

After lunch, Kant took his famous daily walk with his daily routine, according to some, Könisberg's housewives adjusted their work according to this walking time. After reading and writing in the evenings, and deep in thoughtfulness, the hour to sleep was at exactly 10.

Kant got older slowly and consciously. He had been suffering from stomach disease for years. This disease slowly caused the appetite to cease, and eventually nothing could eat it. It is in the horrible nightmares that the bed is often filled with the constantly roaming heads of the head.

On the last day of his life, Kant’s tongue was kept, and he told his last word after servant gave him some water mixed with sweet wine in a soup spoon; "Sufficit” mean “That’s enough”. And then, he passed away. Although a simple funeral ceremony was required, thousands of people attended the funeral ceremony for sixteen days in the catafalks and no masquerading was avoided
