Road Trip to Rural Alberta

Hello everyone!

First time posting on Steem! Just wanted to blog a little on me and my girlfriend’s little road trip to northern Alberta to visit the in-laws!

It was a 3.5-4 hour trip to Peavine, Alberta. Just a little past High Prairie. For those of you who have never been, it’s pretty isolated. The landscape is mostly long winding roads through gentle hills, with the occasional valley around every few turns.

I don’t mind taking that drive every now and then. It’s very peaceful out here. No traffic, I service except for wifi, no airplanes flying over, no major highway in the area. Pure bliss!

We are going to take my girlfriend’s sister swimming in High Prairie in a few hours. I always love to hang out in small communities. It’s Always nice to feel the spirit of the community.
