This time i want to talk about #Dyslexia. That some successful world figure also suffer from this disorder.

Definition of Dyslexia:

A disorder in reading and writing. First identified by Oswald Berkhan (1881) then the term dyslexia appeared in 1887 by Rudolf Berlin.

Cause:

The researchers found among the causes of dyslexia:

  • Nerve framework/ anatomy,
  • Heredity/genetics,
  • Environmental interaction effects.

Signs & Symptoms:

  • Difficulty learning to read fluently, because the letters are reversed to each other or write as in the mirror image
  • Difficulty in understanding the left to right direction or vice versa.
  • Difficulty in identifying or producing rhyming words.
  • Or counting syllables in words (phonological awareness),
  • as well as easily disturbed by past events. 

Famous characters known to have dyslexic dysfunction are:
Albert Einstein, Steve Jobs, Richard Branson, Tom Cruise, Bella Thorne, Orlando Bloom, Whoopi Goldberg, Lee Kwan Yew, Vannesa Amorosi, Florence Welch, Jim Caviezel, Abisechk Bachan dan Thomas Alva Edison, etc.

However, dyslexic people aren't mental retardation. This is more to the delay in the process of learning to read and speak. They aren'tt excommunicated, but they are children who have their own talents.
Proper guidance will give good results. Concern is the key to the successful learning of children with dyslexia.
Each child is unique, has its own talent.
Dyslexic children are not idiot children, lazy to learn, or do not want to learn. But indeed they have difficulty in learning.

Because every child's understanding is not the same. The reference can't be seen from the comparison.
Parents and teachers become the main actors in educating children with dyslexia.
They aren't to be shunned but to be approached.
