Exploring Emporium Mall: Lahore's Ultimate Shopping Destination
The Emporium mall located in Lahore stands to become the largest and most luxurious shopping mall in Pakistan, hosting a variety of entertainments, shopping, and dining experiences under one roof. I recently had an opportunity to spend one memorable day at the Emporium Mall with two of my close friends, and here is an elaborated account of that day.

I was off from my busy schedule to Emporium Mall, one sunny Saturday, to enjoy with a few friends and avoid the heat taking a toll here in Lahore. At first gaze, the grand architecture of the place got our attention as we entered what was apparently equally bursting with energy—the mall. From the outside, the building is something really impressive, but the real charm of the mall is its enormous and sprawling floors inside, replete with multifarious stores and eateries.

Next on our list, the very first was food, which took us to Johnny & Jugnu, home of the amazing wraps. We ordered three wraps, amounting to 2290 PKR. With every bite, you are taken aback by the pure satisfaction of spices and the freshness of the ingredients. It made a perfect kickoff for our plan the rest of the day.

With our hunger satisfied, we then proceeded to the shopping section. We first went to Junaid Jamshed, a store named for their quality fragrance and ethnic wear. I too bought a Zarar Blue by paying PKR 5000. The fragrance was quite cooling and long-lasting too. I just couldn't wait to put it in my treasure collection.
Then, we went to Outfitters. It is a hot outlet among the youth, especially for clothes. As it was scorcher outside, we were in dire need of something cool and comfortable: pants and tops. We purchased one of the pair of pants and one shirt each, suitable for summer. We found the shopping there tremendously interesting because this outfitter has a very wide and attractive range of clothes.

After shopping, we decided to catch a movie. The one at Emporium Mall was just amazing, with striking views and comfort features. We had our ticket to the Punjabi romantic comedy "Jatt & Juliet," which cost PKR 1300 per person. The film was funny and interesting in the right measure. It was the best break one could have after shopping. The cinema itself with selected atmosphere and needless to say the hearty laughter and fun created while watching the movie made it memorable.

After the film, we yearned for fun and adventure. Without saying a word, it was undeniably Bounce, an indoor trampoline park, which opened its metallic gates to unlimited fun. Playing on the differently structured trampolines and trying out different acrobatic attempts on them made us not only enjoy ourselves but also give us plenty of exercise.
Then it was the Horror House: I bet it's free to set a chill down everyone's spine. We walked by the narrow, dark paths: gloomy sounds, some shrill screams, and there popped the surprise moments. We could not resist a scream, yet couldn't resist laughing either. It would be perfectly said that the Horror House provided the right mixture of both.

After all the haggling, we decided to cool down with minor snacking and gossips. Headed to McDonald's and ordered their signature shakes. The cool, creamy shakes just rejuvenated us to chill and gossip about our lives. In the comfortable-seating area, we had a chance to sit down for a while and think about our school days, have a good laugh or two, and discuss future plans.
It was really quite an adventure keeping our finances for the day. Cash was just not enough, and so each of us had to visit an ATM more than once. In fact, we had to use my father's credit card to pay for several items. It was making our exciting day more exciting as we went along, which we had not anticipated at all.

Unsuspecting, it was just five in the evening when we noticed that the much-hyped family time at the mall was about to start. This is a special time that only allows families at the Emporium Mall, and thus as much as we didn't want to leave, we had to. We boarded the train and went back to our hostel. The ride on the Orange Train was quite an experience in itself. It was really fast, efficient, and gave a lovely view of the city. We always spoke about our day, shared the photos we captured, and planned about the next place we had on the outing.

Since this is the only day of the week that we students at hostellites get to venture into the city proper, without any classes or assignments hanging over us, we were determined to make the most of it. This particular Saturday was no different; it was a day well spent—from the thrill in the mall to the adventure of getting our way back on the Orange Train.
And as the day drained to the bottom, we left Emporium Mall carrying all the bags containing goods, happy hearts, and with a bundle of memories we surely won't forget any time soon. The mall really brings with it an escape from the chaotic everyday life, with that touch of shopping, good food, and entertainment.
The Emporium Mall, Lahore: a real one-stop solution, everything under one roof. So, whether you have to literally shop until you drop, dine, or just go gaga with fun, this is the place. We had a great time and are already planning our next trip. In Lahore? You should definitely go to Emporium Mall – a place to have an experience of a lifetime!
